The Grayson Viking Softball Field is home to the Vikings Softball Team. For several years, the infield was comprised of clay, sand, and conditioner with an outfield of bermuda grass over seeded with rye. In 2016, artificial turf was installed in foul territory from dugout to dugout. Large brick dugouts house the home and away sides of the field, while a newly installed grandstand behind home plate, along with a press box with first-story storage for field equipment that came to life in 2017.
In 2019 Viking Softball Field added lights, allowing for night games, and gave Grayson the ability to host postseason events. Also in 2019, flower beds were installed along the parking lot curb, walkway, press box, and behind both dugouts. More than 300 flowers were planted along with shrubs to help beautify the grounds outside of the playing facility.
In 2023, Hellas Construction began installation on brand new artificial turf, and was completed prior to the start of the 2024 season.
INDOOR FACILITY
The Grayson Baseball and Softball programs have a 5,000 square foot indoor facility that consists of three cages with one being large enough for hitters to hit off of live pitching and giving the Vikings the ability to practice regardless of weather conditions.


WEIGHTROOM
Grayson's strength and condition facilities include a 6,000 square foot weight room consisting of squat racks, dumbbells, medicine balls, sleds, cardio equipment, and multiple machines.

Dub Hayes Field is the home of the Grayson Viking Baseball Team. The field was named after the late James W. "Dub" Hayes who was instrumental in bringing baseball to Grayson. Hayes was a World War II Veteran, and a big proponent of education. He served for 33 years as a Trustee for Grayson College, and also was a director of the Grayson College Foundation.

VIKING GYM
Viking Gym is host to the Grayson Vikings Men's and Women's Basketball teams. The gym has been a central part of campus life since Grayson College opened in 1965.
Over the years, the gym added locker rooms, new flooring and a new scoreboard.
In 2021, the Viking Gym Floor was named Bill Brock Court in honor of the Hall-of Famer, who was inducted into the Inaugural Athletic Hall-of-Fame Class in 2019. Brock coached 13 years at Grayson College, compiling 371 wins in that time.
VIKING eSPORTS ARENA
The 748-square-foot Grayson College eSports Lab opened up for competition in the Fall of 2023. Located adjacent to the cafeteria and the campus bookstore on the first floor of the Life Center, the eSports Arena features 10 computers complete with headphones, gaming chairs, and two Nintendo Switch Stations.
VIKING ATHLETIC TRAINING FACILITY
The Grayson College Athletic Training Facility (ATF) located across from Viking Gym, was converted from a classroom in 2018 when the men's and women's basketball programs returned and a full-time Athletic Trainer was needed. The ATF is approximately 600 square feet with an attached office. It features three taping/treatment tables and many modalities to treat our athletes. These modalities include estim/ultrasound machine, a large and small whirlpool, ice machine, a large hydrocollator, compression boots, a recumbent bike, and an ice/compression unit. There is also a variety of supplies used for injury rehabilitation, as well as use of the fitness center equipment. The flooring was updated from stained concrete to vinyl wood planks in Summer 2024. The ATF serves all Viking athletes.
