Men's Basketball collects Conference & Region Accolades

A third place finish by the Grayson Men's Basketball team has led to a slew of conference accolades. The Vikings finished 15-16, with a 7-7 record in conference play, getting hot in the second half of the season, finishing 6-1 over the final seven games. They advanced to the Region V Tournament for the second year in a row, falling to Frank Phillips in the opening round. 

Sophomore Terrance Ramirez: NTJCAC All-Conference Selection, All-Region 5 Selection
-Two time All-Conference selection
-Averaged 19.3 PPG, 1.4 SPG, and 3.0 APG
-Shot 82.6% from the free throw line, and 46.3% from the field.
-Led the team in scoring, steals and assists, and free throw percentage.
-Third ont he team in field goal percentage.
 
Sophomore Croix Cox: NTJCAC 2nd Team All-Conference Selection
-Averaged 11.3 PPG, and 10.1 RPG
-Led the team in rebounding, and third on the team in scoring. 
-Shot 55.3 % from the field, second on the team. 
-Appeared in all 31 games this season, starting 29 of them. 
 
Freshman Kevin Paul Jr: NTJCAC 2nd Team All-Conference Selection
-Averaged 10.9 PPG, 8.1 RPG, 1.5 BPG
-Shot 65.4% from the field (led the team)
-Led the team in blocks per game.

Sophomore Nicholas Anthony: NTJCAC 2nd Team All-Conference Selection
-Averaged 14.0 PPG, 2.9 RPG, 2.5 APG
-Second on the team in scoring and assists.
-Shot 45% from the field, and 36.8% from the three point line
-Led the team in three point percentage.
