The Vikings resumed conference play on Wednesday, March 12, earning a split with Hill.
Game one
The Vikings earned a 13-0 victory over Hill in game one.
After a scoreless first inning, Grayson broke through in the top of the second. Austin Godwin drew a walk, moved to second on a wild pitch, and advanced to third on a flyout. Brandon Seidmeyer lined an RBI single to left for a 1-0 lead. Chase Womack followed with a double, and Kain Sanchez reached on an error for a 2-0 lead. The Vikings added a third run, scoring on a wild pitch. In the fourth inning, Seidmeyer led off with a single, and moved to second on a single from Womack. A sac bunt advanced both runners 90 feet, and Seidmeyer scored on a wild pitch for a 4-0 lead. JT Cienga extended the lead to 5-0 with an RBI single. Nik Sanders added a home run (his second of the year) in the fifth for a 6-0 lead, and the Viking offense put up a crooked number in the seventh inning. Brandon Creek and Austin Godwin led off with singles. Caleb Hoover followed with a three run blast (his fifth of the year) to push the lead to 9-0. Sanders followed with a double, Seidmeyer walked, and Womack reached on a fielder's choice putting runners on the corners. Sanchez reached on an error, scoring a run, and two batters later, Cienega lined a two run single for a 12-0 lead. After Creek drew a walk, Godwin capped the inning with an RBI double.
Cieneage finished 2-5 with three RBI, Hoover was 1-3 with a home run and three RBI, while Sanders (HR and RBI) and Godwin had a three hit game.
Kade Neuenschwander turned hin his second straight scoreless outing of conference play, throwing seven innings, giving up just one hit, and striking out eight. In his two starts in conference, he has yet to give up a run, and has thrown 13 innings, giving up just three hits, and striking out 16.

Hill got the 5-4 victory in game two, handing the Vikings their first loss in conference play.

In the third inning, Sloan Barrett lined a one out double, and Brandon Creek was hit by a pitch. Godwin followed with his third home run of the season to give the Vikings a 4-1 lead. Hill scored a run in the fifth on a sacrifice fly, and added three in the ninth to take the win.
Godwin led the Viking offense, finishing 2-4 with a home run and three RBI. Grady Moore started the game, and threw four innings, giving up just two earned runs and striking out six.
