Two Men's Basketball Players moving on to next level

The Vikings were red hot ending the first half of conference play, and beginning the second half with six wins in seven games to propel them to a fourth place finish and a spot in the Region V Men's Basketball Tournament. Two Vikings will move on to the next level, and play at four year universities. 

-G Chol Deng (University of California State-Monterey): Deng, a native of Sydney, Australia appeared in 29 games (19 starts), averaging 13.6 points per game on the season, and 16.6 points per game in conference. Deng recorded a season high 29 points in a win against Ranger in February, and in the second half of conference play, he had nine straight games scoring in double figures. Deng capped the year with a NTJCAC 2nd Team All-Conference Selection. Deng committed to play at NCAA Division II California State-Monterey, competing in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. 

-F Aaron Lemon-Warren (Langston University): Lemon-Warren from Philadelphia, appeared in 28 games for the Vikings a season ago, leading the team in scoring at 18.7 points per game. He averaged 20.4 points during conference play. Lemon-Warren recorded double digit scoring outings in all but seven games, and had four games with 30+ points. He recorded a season high 35 points against Collin in January. Lemon-Warren turned heads at the conference level, earning a spot on the NTJCAC 1st Team, All-Region V Team, and was awarded NTJCAC Newcomer of the Year. Lemon-Warren will take his talents to NAIA Sooner Athletic Conference member Langston University. Langston is coming off a 35 win season, falling one win short of a NAIA National Championship.
