Ryan Free shut-out Temple in a 5-0 win in the first game in their doubleheader. Free went seven innings, walked two, allowed zero runs on three hits, and struck out five. Blake Rambusch led the Vikings in hits, going 3-3 at the plate with a double. Davis Powell went 2-4 at the plate and had one run, and Hunter Watson went 1-2 with 3 RBI. Wade Elliott (1-4) and Nick Vernars (1-3) both had hits.
